Subway's franchisees have an association, and their corporate office (including Subway's founder, Fred DeLuca) actually encouraged it. They work with the association actively, and respect their franchisees and their input. Big difference versus what we've seen from Snap corporate, huh? Maybe it is time to form a franchisee association. it IS time. Let's do it. I recommend everyone look into subway's association this weekend and next week we bring our ideas to the table. Let's get this done and save the Snap brand!

Dale I actually have two advisory boards of owners that My team and I work with. The reason for two groups is different sized markets, demos, and types of clubs. I use these groups to offer feedback on our website revisions, online enrollment, 8.95 program, PT, club 30 , My Zone, Portal, and training materials. Just because you don't know about it and are not part of it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I don't just pick a bunch of Pro-Snap owners. I pick difficult owners that run great clubs, because I value their feedback. I also pick owners that love the brand because they are the ones running the Snap Play and finding great success with it. I don't generally select owners that have not adopted any of the brand changes offer the past 3-5 years. The owner still trying to run an absentee owner business, staffing 20 hours a week, doing no PT, no My Zone, not doing the 3 path price preso... that owner brings very little to the conversation because we know that when they face real competition they will likely get beat, and when they get beat it will be everyone's fault but their own. We have many great owners in our system that get up and fight the good fight, run the play, focus on results and PT and are winning in competitive markets. My goal is to get every owner to that point, but they need to engage, come back to Snap U, go to convention, get on calls with me and my team, watch the training videos...If you or anyone else, wants to be on some of my panels, reach out to me. I will take a look at your club and how it is being ran and you may possibly get added to the group.

John I would first like to thank you for communicating with us here. That is a good start. This is not an area where corporate has excelled. Your company set up the franchisee forum which ideally would be a great line of communication. Much better than me calling you because all zee's and corporate personnel can interact. Unfortunately that forum is ineffective because most posts never get published and the ones that do, do not get a timely or any response. I would like to give you an opportunity here to concur. Please show some good faith. A specific example (there are many more) is the post on the 11th about automating the re-running declined accounts. Tomorrow will be 12 days with no response. Can you agree that this is not the "world class" support that corporate has in their marketing?
Another major concern is that you actually do have advisory boards yet most of us know nothing about them. Again, major breakdown in communication.
