Dear Peter,
Based on the recent IT events coupled with Snaps underperformance in recent years, I (and I'm sure many others) respectfully request that you use this as an opportunity to do the respectable, admirable thing and step down as Lift Brand's CEO. While you had some success selling franchises over the years, running a company of this size is clearly over your head, and it's not fair to all the franchisees, employees, and affiliates who depend on Snap to put food on their tables.

Not likely. You're dealing with an unconscious incompetent (doesn't know what he doesn't know) and to make matters worse when given advice from an expert in the area will plug his ears, reject that advice and do whatever he wants. When things go wrong he blames others. This attitude seeps down through all levels of the company. Anyone with even a little bit of smarts would learn from this experience and realize that a company's data is its lifeblood. You don't screw around with it and try to wing it yourself. Sure you can go out and hire a bunch of people who have MCSA certifications from Microsoft. That basically means they know how to click a couple buttons in a certain sequence to try to get a result, but have no idea what to do if the result isn't what their textbook told them would happen.
One of the reasons I stopped going to the conventions is because the theme was typically the same. You're a franchisee, don't think for yourself, just do what we say and don't question us.

A franchisor who wants you to keep the administrator account on your club system active and left as "admin" has demonstrated from day 1 that they have no clue about security. Additionally they want all of your staff to log into that account. When you have an issue they complain to you that you're doing something different than every other club by not having an admin account. But then they force you to log out of the app every 20 seconds for "security" reasons.
Bring this up to the CEO and what's the response? Your email forwarded to someone else to see about "helping you sell your club".
This exemplifies the ignorance and arrogance at the corporate level.

so apparently there’s a pic from yesterday or Friday of Peter partying down in Florida. Shouldn’t he be side by side with the developers making sure they have everything they could possibly want? “Oh, you want chipotle? We’ll order it for you, anything else? The optics are really bad on this. To make matters worse he apparently went off on a rant about franchisees “complaining” (they love that word) about not having system access. Snap said his Facebook account was hacked, it wasn’t really him, it was an imposter, and the rant was deleted. Really? Sorry, but I think it’s time for that egotistical jackass to say goodnight and hand over the reigns to someone who knows what they’re doing.

I would expect he'd be stressed over this. Where's the pic? Anyone save it before it was removed? I have a hard time believing he went off on a rant about franchisees complaining of not having system access. Maybe other things, but not this. I believe corp got caught with their pants down leaving their system with minimum protection. Embarrassing and very expensive to fix. I wouldn't be partying over that.

Saw the pic on the BPS facebook page and read that Peter's facebook page had been hacked, the video rant was an imposter and had been removed, but never saw it before it was removed.

I am thinking it's a good thing that Peter moved away from the corp office. Probably a relief on the employees. He used to micromanage back in the day. Not sure what it has been in recent years, but this I know for a fact. I remember years ago speaking to an employee heading up one of the departments. They basically whispered on the phone to me what a train wreck Peter can be. They never knew what to expect from day to day. That is when my stress began.
Maybe Peter finally realized he may be the cause of so much turnover and unfavorable reviews. So he decided to head south and step out of the office before it gets worse. I am sure his input is absolutely worthless on this major issue we face at the moment.

He should be losing sleep and a nervous wreck. I AM! This outage is the knock out punch for me. This is good news for any future clubs that want to pick up equipment from my clubs liquidation. I have a kick ass myzone system that's barely used, I'll even be able to throw in about 20 belts for free.

Christmas came early this year! I don't think Tom will be (or should be) the long term replacement, just an interim solution until they find a suitable replacement. They need a fresh mind who is not tainted by the toxic culture Peter created and is willing to clean house.
