As usual declines at almost 8% of the billed members. Oh, but this isn't a concern for franchisees. What we really need to focus on is LOCKING MEMBERS OUT!!! That'll go well (especially seeing how their wannabe developers have screwed up everything else they've touched).

Not just locking them out... Also deeming those you cannot contact "out of contract" so you won't be getting dues from them anymore either. This is insane. Between Silver Sneakers, Myzone, and Tim McGraw I feel like I invested in a giant rudderless boat.

Well I'm going to be sleeping in the back of my club on 11/6 and being there for those members who are locked out. What we've seen over the years is that snap's laughable support group fucks up everything they touch. I have no doubt that they'll fuck this up as well. You'll have members whose accounts look all good suddenly getting locked out at 2am, 3am, etc. The wanna be programmers will find some sort of error they didn't account for or think of (because they don't test anything) and you'll wind up with a bunch of angry members you'll have to deal with. However, snap hq doesn't give a rat's ass because they don't have to deal with their negligence... you do. They just go on fucking things up left and right and letting owners take the heat, clean up their mess and make reparations to members.
It's the snap way: Fuck the franchisees, we do what we want!!
I can see the emails pouring in:
Owner: Jane Doe was locked out of the club, but the system shows that there are no members in the club with unsigned documents. Why was she locked out? (Lack of) support: Oh well it turns out there was another ambiguous field that needed to be checked which we missed and that's locked everyone out. Oops, our bad. Just a glitch.
One piece of advice: Take a screenshot which shows none of your members with unsigned documents. I'm sure these idiots will come back and make some change which fucks everything up and then oints the finger at you that you didn't resolve those documents prior to 11/7. We've seen that over and over again as well. They fuck up and then point the finger at you. We tend to screenshot everything now. The response back after they've been caught? "Well, that's weird." Fucking incompetent liars.
So now the question is whether or not this is just a US and Canada franchisee fuck over or whether they're planning to fuck over snap owners worldwide.

There's nothing more frustrating than having a member pay you and then be locked out of your gym. Hopefully, there won't be any fields needing checks. I expect this to go smoothly..bahahahaha.
My advice for unsigned documents on the 11th hour. Paper signature acknowledgement. I am not losing members over this. This whole document signature thing is a precaution and of course for good reason, but we've been riding for years without the requirement. So the risk is low at the moment. Like I said...I am not losing money over this initial deadline.

Then there's always the issue that they're sending out contracts to family members under 18 to sign. Just another example of their wannabe programmers playing with code. Here's an idea...
if age is < 18 then don't try to get them to sign anything

Non event with the lock out except for the scheduled maintenance, which wasn't scheduled.
Yes, asking kids under 18 to sign is a waste and could be easily avoided by checking DOB. Not a very bright staff.

Declines due to lost or stolen cards (or just canceled to avoid paying dues) along with a system which is logging you off after just 10 or 15 seconds and taking several minutes just to refresh a screen. How much longer do we have to put up with this crap?

How many times during signup of multiple member plans have you acquired the ipad signatures then the next time you click the mouse it logs you off. Happened to me today. Yep...time to start over..f*#@!!
