So here's my latest idea which I'm running by our attorney.
A 5 year membership - Now we realize this is a big commitment on the members' part. Therefore, we're offering free trials of our club. These are done on a month to month basis and are free. There's simply a $34.95 per month processing fee. The member can try out the club for as long as they like for free. Because we realize that 5 years is such a long time we understand that it can take quite a while, even years, before someone can decide whether or not to commit to the club. Of course there is a limit of 2 years for trying out the club. Hopefully members don't simply change their email address when they hit their 2 year limit, because that's the only field we'll be checking.
Needless to say we're modeling this after the wildly successful 30 day trial. Who's to say how long it takes someone to try something out before deciding to buy? All of our trials and processing fees will take place on a completely separate system.

Be sure to include 2 free training sessions, a free access card and a T-shirt. That will get a commitment to pay the processing fee. :-)

Haha, love the idea of the extended trials. Kind of like the argument that $15 needs to be the minimum wage, why not $100/hour. If someone needs 30 days to decide and someone is collecting money for it why not give them 30 months to make up their mind?
The 30 day trial benefits only one group, and that's snap corporate.
