We used to sell Snap shirts, water bottles, shakers, towels, etc. We sold these at a slight mark up. However, when members starting telling us they were buying these from the snap website we stopped. We also made the decision to stop giving away shirts, bags, lanyards, etc to new members. We were doing this to compete against Planet Fitness, but no more. I know from talking with my accountant, who handles a planet fitness franchisee, that they're paying $1/shirt. Why can't we get corporate to work with us so we can compete rather than looking at zees as a dollar sign? I find it funny that they tell us not to treat each part of our business as a profit center when this is exactly what they do.

We did the same and still do but do not purchase it from corporate. We purchase locally, get better pricing & don't have to pay the exorbitant shipping fees. We do everything physically possible to avoid lining corp's pockets any more than we already do.
