So snap puts up on their propaganda page that a new owner took a club from $5K/year NET and is now making $80K GROSS. So the question is, Is that success? You can't tell unless you either know:
1. What the beginning GROSS was or 2. What the end NET was
Also, I hope that's $80K/month, because $80K/year averages out to $6,660.00/month Subtract $1500 for franchise fees Subtract $5,000 for rent (using average of 2500 sf club and $2/sf)
and that leaves $160/month
That doesn't include electricity payroll supplies equipment leases cable internet
If the new owner had to pony up $35K to "modernize" then it's gonna take some time to pay that back as well.
So, how is that a success story? More like a sucks it story.
