A heads up - If you've had anyone sign up to your club online you may not have been paid for up to their first 3 months. It looks like the first month is collected online, but the others are just skipped. I only noticed this because a very honest member stopped at the front desk to let us know she didn't get billed today. (I wish all members helped us out like that). We reviewed a couple other online signup accounts and found it to be fairly consistent.

As I understand it, the only thing they pay for when joining online (Not FitPass) is the Program Fee & Access card(s). There are no membership dues collected. They get billed during the next 1st of month billing period. We always email people to come in for a Welcome tour, Free Work out session set up & confirm dues status (i.e. have them pay prorated amount for rest of month)

It looks like this has changed based upon the last couple of emails we received about online signups. From that email it appears that they're collecting the first month dues along with a tax. In our state there is no tax on any of these items, so that looks to be in err. Of course I haven't received a monthly statement yet to check these items against.
In one instance they made the dues post date the 6th of the month because he signed up online on the 6th. Then they skipped the first full month of dues.

hmmm...I am not sure about what the issue is, exactly. I went back through my online sign ups for the last year. Anything prior to Feb 7th (shitpass install date) members were charged program fee and card fee, leaving us to collect prorate. The first payment was set to the next draft date (the 1st of the following month). After Feb 7th, online signups were charged the first month of dues, program fee and card fee at sign up and the anniversary billing date was set as registration date + 7 days. I didn't find any instances of any online members not being billed. Is there anything else they have in common? Where they shitpass first?

All of these were online signups, no prior trials. All started after the free 30 day prepay trial membership was changed.
