As I am no longer a Snap Fitness franchisee, I find myself looking for a gym. I can get it done for $10-20/ month, work/sweat versus paying $35+ per month. I don't need or want a Myzone belt. I don't want a fitness coach or trainer. I'm probably like the majority of people. Good luck with your New Year promo. There are some gyms around here that offer memberships for around $10-$20 per month, but most are filthy, poorly equipped and pathetically run shitholes that I wouldn't send my worst enemy to. Not that many Snaps are different. As far as gyms that meet my criteria, I'm looking at $70-$80 per month minimum - which is not a lot to spend considering I'm investing in my health. Any Snaps out there that are up-to-date, well run, and well maintained for around $40 per month would be considered a very fair deal.

We have plenty of $10/month clubs around us. I have memberships to 3 of them. Many of the members are inconsiderate low-lifes and the clubs are crowded. The equipment is low-end (not that most would be able to differentiate a $2K machine vs a $6K machine). In the end you get what you pay for. As owners all we can do is try our best to provide a fun, entertaining and beneficial experience. Easy? Fuck no, it's a pain day in and day out, but spend time in all the different clubs to get a feel for atmosphere.
I also had a $5/month club within 5 miles of me. They closed and have been replaced with a $20/month club.
