Once again we have planet fitness littering the air waves with their propaganda. The one they try to tout is unlimited personal training. From what I understand these "trainers" are certified in house and aren't by any nationally accredited organization (eg NASM, ACE, etc). Their training basically consists of someone showing you how a selectorized machine works. I had one member tell me that they had one sort of class where they had the women doing hip thrusts in front of him. She felt very uncomfortable. If these "trainers" aren't certified and someone gets injured as a result of their "instruction" wouldn't that open them up to a lawsuit?

Planet fitness does hire a trainer for set hours and they are certified, but there is only one per gym usually. They schedule assessments to help you find out what to work out. It is not unlimited personal training. I guess if the trainer isn't with someone they can work with them daily.

From what I've heard the "free training" is basically just circuit training workouts. Sort of like the "Basic 8" but in a group.
