Now corporate is going to impose a $1000.00 fine on every club that does NOT have a member attend their convention? Is that even legal? Talk about a fascist organization!

It's in the contract, but they haven't been enforcing it until now. Every other franchise that I'm aware of that has a yearly convention requires their zees to attend.

It's a $1000 per license owned...see you in Vegas. Maybe we can go with bags over our heads and all sit in the front row.

They are like a vice grip and its getting incredibly painful. Who would sign a 10 year extension with these guys.

Not a big deal to attend, but can't we have a convention that is NOT in Vegas? The desire to go to Vegas year after year is the need to satisfy someone's need to spend our money on their boondoggle. If they were convention serious the event would be held at various locations around the country and preferably where there airline hubs to help keep costs down.

Uggh, well this just might be what breaks me. If it requires a mandate, it's probably a flawed program. People will attend things worth attending.

This upsets me. I would be ok with going to convention if it wasn't in Vegas EVERY year. I'm not sure why they choose Vegas year after year. My husband's company changes it up every year and that keeps things fun. I also don't like feeling like I'm being strong armed into going...an incentive to go would be nicer than being forced.

Not a big fan of Vegas here... the problem is, if we go, we still will spend $1000 on plane tickets hotel etc. And I'm not sure I want to be hanging around there alone so that means the two of us would have to go. I don't know. Just frustrates me we don't have the choice!

Maybe it should be on a beach somewhere. Sin City? Is that more of a "star friendly" place to visit? What stars will visit small town USA? I don't gamble..although I did with this franchise..touche. Damn.

I think they'll regret me being there. I don't intend to be quiet, and will be armed with facts.

In that case I am going. I'll be able to pick you out of the crowd for sure. lol
I'll bring several disguises with me and sign in as different people for all those who do not want to go. Flip me a few bucks for the fake mustache/beard/headgear and I'll make the iniial sign-in for you. After that, you got sick and were bed ridden for the rest of the trip.

Why doesn't Peter host it at his mansion? That way we can save on hotel fees at least

Wait, I thought they were saying that this was a smashing success and that it was more heavily attended then ever before. So those were all lies? Imagine snap trying to cllaim one thing when the exact opposite is true. People are voting with their feet and saying we've had enough of your shit.
So if they're all forcing everyone to go then why don't we organize a meeting where we can put together a petition, invite a lawyer and figure out how to stop this nonsense they call snap.
There may also be better routes, so let's hear them.
I also think it's important to be prepared for their typical responses and be ready to counter them. As an example,
"We listen to your feedback and implement those changes" - Really, let me read a list of problems we've found which haven't been touched. "We don't have anyone asking for things like that (auto credit card updater)" Really? Can I have a show of hands for who wants that? "Everyone loves shitpass" Again, show of hands for those who don't want it!!
You may also want to bring a megaphone, because I'm sure they won't give you a mic, or will turn it off. There's also the other response of
"This isn't a concern with many owners, let's talk about it offline" Really, again, show of hands.
It would be good to have all of this organized. I really want to embarass them with how poorly they run things and how incompetent they are.

At a general session I stood up (when they weren't taking questions) and loudly asked why nobody thought of at least inviting Snap owners and their employees within driving distance of Thomas Rhett concerts to meet before the show to take a group selfie so we could get some mileage out of the endorsement. They keep telling us it's all about social media but they don't ever use their heads in any way that isn't just a lot of work for us. Yes, they quieted me down and said that his management company was very hard to deal with. Jeez, too bad nobody thought to put anything creative like that in Thomas Rhett's endorsement contract! But corporate rarely ever considers our perspective!!!
