So from the picture he posted with his email I'm guessing he's trying to make us believe that he'll work with us. Personally I believe actions speak louder than words. I listen to the words, but if not followed up with action that it's just a bunch of BS. So what would "franchisees first" look like
1. Eliminate Shitpass or make it a home only pass which franchisees can opt in or out of 2. Scrap Shitware and transition to an industry standard. Use the strength of Snap's footprint to negotiate a good deal for franchisees. 3. Get auto updates to credit card info going. This is a big retention tool. Those that don't understand that should just get out of the industry. 4. Eliminate the National Marketing Fee. It's a slush fund and we know it. 5. At least get the website up to the standard which one can achieve with Wix. While you're at it scrap the entire IT group which supports the website and contract this out to a company which does nothing but websites. Focus on fitness. Snap should use technology to our advantage and hire world class technology companies with best of breed solutions, not cobble together crappy systems with spotty support and try to claim it's world class (unless they're specifying 3rd world class)

I'm not sure there's ever been someone from the corp office that came out with an introduction of "franchisees first". We probably wouldn't believe it if it came from one of the regulars. To connect with the frustrated zees, I wonder if he (or Pete) is trying to bridge the gap. Like you said, we will see by actions not words. Years ago in the corp world we adopted something called "Watch my Feet"...or rather it was forced down our throats. So they handed out little metal feet to everyone that you could pin on your shirt (so stupid bahaha). If you were more actions than words you would wear it. Everyone wore it in fear the boss might see us without it. lol Office Space flashback.
The National Marketing slush fund pays for sexual harassment settlements that are never mentioned.
