Here's the thing, if you schedule maintenance and announce it then it's scheduled maintenance. If you have to haphazardly take your whole system down with no notice it's not "scheduled" maintenance.
We pay almost $200/month for this crap?

Will we be getting our fees for this piece of crap refunded this month? This level of aggravation would warrant fees refunded for the month, otherwise customers would start walking. No one would put up with cobbled together software which is this bad. Free software runs better than this.

FitWare is driving me nuts right now. Can't sign anyone up and the counter stopped at 9:42 last night. Terrible.

Fitware is having timeout issues too. Ya know..just when you're in the middle of signing someone up it logs you out? That's supposed to be fixed soon in case anyone is experiencing this problem.

Stop complaining!! Logging in and then having the system log you out 5 seconds later (literally) multiple times in a row is a security enhancement. You should be happy we didn't charge you for the upgrade.
Have I mentioned that PF tried writing their own software a couple years back and eventually discovered it's less expensive and more reliable, user friendly, less expensive, etc, etc, etc to use software already written by a company which focuses on that one thing.
Business 101 is to focus on your core competency and hire companies which specialize in other areas, such as software development. Otherwise you start failing at everything. Oh wait, we're already there.

Don't forget that at some point last night (USA) all of the websites for each location were down with a 404 "not found" error. That is really freaking professional! If it was truly "scheduled" then why would you have it go to a 404 error? Bunch of amateurs playing as developers. I don't really understand the thought process of this company!

I recommend you refresh fitware by logging in again before signing someone up. If it's truly a timeout issue, better reset your time before entering info on a new account. I just made it to the one of the last steps of signing someone up and it booted me out. I was sooooo pissed that little puffs of steam exited out of my ears as I suppressed my anger.

This system is a nightmare! Poor system takes the blame when it is the rent a coders that are at fault. The CIO (Career Is Over) better take massive action to restore what little sanity we had before yesterday's cluster started. I mean massive, if someone doesn't lose their job over this disaster, then he should.

snaplongtimer - refreshing doesn't help. The timeout value seems to be dependent on a random number generator. It's logged me out 5 times in a row. The whole time I was active and it was typically 5 to 20 seconds before it timed out and logged me out again. So who's going to the revolt, I mean convention.?
Focus on fitness - Let those who provide fitness software do that part - Right now there's no focus on anything (except how to get more money out of franchisees)

Cheryl, you said "Focus on fitness - Let those who provide fitness software do that part - Right now there's no focus on anything (except how to get more money out of franchisees)" Issue is that if they keep this up, there will be no way to get money out of us franchisees!
YankedChain, you said "The CIO (Career Is Over) better take massive action to restore what little sanity we had before yesterday's cluster started. I mean massive, if someone doesn't lose their job over this disaster, then he should" Couldn't agree with you more!
CRAZY!!

The consistent problems with Fitware are driving me nuts! Consistently logging me off and now can't get back on. This is ridiculous.

In the software industry fitware would be considered an alpha product and at best a beta product. Definitely not ready for production use. If you tried selling it to any consumer they'd be off of it within a month. No one would put up with the constant problems and inefficiaency of the whole system. Want to purchase a product we have a single click solution. We call it single click because you have to click 14 times, but, hey, none of them are double clicks.

Can't reach the site, so going through the process with paper and entering into the system later. I'm sure the "scheduled maintenance" splash page will replace the "server not responding" at some point today.
Of course the portal isn't available either.
I'll say it again - Hand this over to a company that does this for a living and isn't just tinkering around.

Ever enter new payment info only to have the signature required "send to ipad or email" show up? I've had it twice in the last several months. I thought it was something new, but I'm guessing it's an occasional bug. I'd back out of it and go back in and repeat. Then it wouldn't ask for a signature. Once again, I'm sitting there not knowing what to say to the customer on the phone.
