Received a primer today on building dashboards. 10 things to do and 10 things to avoid. Funny, snap does none of the 10 things to do and does 9 out of 10 things to avoid. One of which is to make users wait for the dashboard. Since it's not collecting realtime data WTF is it actually doing? So tired of these idiots attempting to write software.

The amount of respect I would have if, just if, they would admit they made a huge mistake and they now want to right the Titanic and move forward would go along way in improving the perception of "Franchisees First". Think Mindbody.

As I said before, when it comes to software they're just guessing at everything. They're not in the s/w industry and have no idea of industry trends, what works and what doesn't. That's on top of having no clue how to write code. It's been 3 or 4 years now that the status on the one page comes up as "Processing...", but is doing absolutely nothing until you hit the <process> button. Over and over we've had employees afraid to hit the process button for fear that they'll double charge the member.
Then there's the fact that you can get almost all the way through signing someone up and have the system arbitrarily decide to log you out. The fact that you've been actively using the system makes no difference. Start all over again. Oh, and wait a couple minutes for the dashboard to finish doing whatever it's doing.
Again, stop. Just stop and hand this over to a company that does this, and only this, for a living and knows what they're doing. If you had any idea what you were doing you'd be able to sell fitware to other companies, not just force franchisees and their employees to put up with it.

Wait until your employees figure out how to get their friend an access card without a membership record. They don't even have to create a zero dollar membership now. The good news is you don't have to pay new membership fees on those "accounts".
