It's bad enough that snap doesn't automatically update credit card billing information and then charges franchisees for billing declines. Now I find out that even when a member pays their delinquent dues online the system doesn't update their billing information. What kind of a scam are these guys pulling.
Future franchisees beware!!! Investigate before you give these shysters even one penny.

This is a good point. You would think that the default action would be to update the billing information once they have made their payment, but nope. Crazy town.

This is just another reason the number of snap clubs is in free fall. A member's billing doesn't go through, the franchisee collects $0 and then corporate comes in and charges the franchisee for the payment failure. Even worse is that if the member gives you the updated billing information after it's collected, let's say the 26th of the month, then snap goes in and charges you anyway. What they should do when billing doesn't go through is to check to see if the billing was updated after the collection date. If so run the updated billing. However, that would eliminate a decline recovery charge. It should also be reverted back to an opt-in program. You can't have that when you have a CORPORATE FIRST!! mentality.
