Sorry, but that line right there says that either
1) You're not paying attention to your bottom line or costs
2) You don't care about excess costs to snap
3) You're not smart enough to figure this out yourself
4) You're struggling to find some benefit corporate provides
Either way none of those are good, and pretty much void everything else you spout off.
Again, if you move into an area, as many of us have you're either going to continue going to the club you've been going to if there's one in your new location. Next would be to ask friends and family in the new area what they recommend. Or perhaps you think that goes down like:
A: So where do you guys go to work out?
B: I go to club XYZ, it's awesome because <fill in the blanks>
A: Oh, I went to one of their clubs in bumfuck Arkansas and it sucked, so I don't believe you and I refuse to check it out. Let me google gyms in the area.
But then again you may need someone to hold your hand to find excess payments, so maybe you really are that gullible.
You like fitpass? Great! Offer fitpass. I hate it for many, many reasons. It should be a home club, opt-in program. Why is that such an awful idea? Oh, and it's TEMPORARILY gone. That is until they realize no one wants to pay an actual fee to come into the club. Hell, if I'm a competitor I don't want to pay actual money to find out just what your club is doing and copy it, or try to fuck up your club by leaving weights all over the place, slice up your upholstery and walk all around your club with mud all over my shoes.
whitegoodman stated: Also am I really the only one that is smart enough to realize that people who have a Fitpass BOUGHT their pass. I would much rather have a lead that invested a little bit of money vs the turds that make impulse decisions and just fill out something for free.
Well, you've already established that you're not too smart and secondly, WTF are you talking about? What are they filling out for free? An inquiry form? I didn't think you were JV, (as you can see above, again goes toward the intelligence level) but with such stupid comments I begin to wonder.
I have to admit I chuckled when you pointed to the fact that your grammar was correct as a sign that you're not JV. However, using logic that only a handful are pointing out the theft, ignorance and greed of corporate as a reason not to change the system sounds EXACTLY like JV's statement that only a handful have asked for an auto credit card updater, so it's not really that important. Here's a tiny bit of human nature info for you. If someone brings up something which needs to change it makes no sense for thousands of others to stand up and so, oh, yes, I'd like that too. Wanna know how many want it, put out a poll. Better yet just simply outsource the entire system that know WTF they're doing, which the past 4 days have exemplified.

Again this is another indication of either a lack of understanding of human nature, ignorance or stupidity. Are you seriously saying you haven't read about people/companies creating multiple reviews to try and disparage their competitors? I think even John Mack of Whole Foods was found to be doing this. I'm just smh in disbelief that you don't understand this. Sometimes I fully understand why some franchisees fail miserably.
