No thanks. Leadership that wasn't democratically voted on, and more fees? Pass

Suspicious "guest" comment?
If you have the potential to once again charge joining fees (no more one month through corporate), and have more control during that first visit and first month, just think how much there is to gain for the small amount being asked. And I would think the FA group could vote on leadership if anyone thinks that is necessary, or as it grows.
By the way, do you get a vote on the corporate Snap Fitness leadership? NO! And when you find you don't care for it, that they have changed direction, or require something you find has no place in your market, do you get a chance to try to make it change? NO.
Compare this franchise to ATF....Anytime Fitness has no month "trial" and they charge $49 to join even during their join for $1 promo. As a Snap Fitness, how much are you making on a new membership? The ATF I "researched" charges a lot for a month to month and there really is not a joint or family option. Each additional person costs more than $30 per month. They are not pushing heart rate monitoring (yet). They were very busy with just gym equipment, some functional training equipment, and offers for PT. I never saw anyone doing PT.
I would join, but I bailed on this franchise for "greener grass" awhile ago. I'm so much happier! Best wishes to the Franchise Association. I hope you can bring about some necessary changes.

Exactly. There IS democratically voting on leadership once the FA has begun. There are currently some 185 members and more joining every day. The only reason there was no voting on the beginning leadership is because a few leaders got together to create the association and spent their own time and resources finding and discussing with competent franchisee attorneys. If you think change is going to happen without this, that's fine. I'm sure that'll be change like we've seen in the last 10+ years.
BTW, this is NOT the group that Regina went and started and now is not willing to relinquish -- this is one truly for the franchisees instead of just a few people with her.

Unfortunately Regina isn't very bright, uses phrases like "don't put the cart before the horse" in situations where it makes no sense and likes to compare snap to her tanning business. Huh? Sorry, dearie but the two have nothing in common. It's no wonder her Indiana locations are failing. Snap realizes that she's a useful idiot and looking to take full advantage of that. The snap delegation will achieve nothing but getting responses like...
We hear you We're listening We'll put together a committee to look into that We'll have to wait until we hire a new CEO In other words delay, delay, delay
Oh, they'll raise your marketing fee as she requested, and that's about it.
