Sounds like a plan. I would mention better deals in club in the welcome message. Anything to steer them away from the website and send them into the club. Then you could charge everything immediately after the trial.

Not only 2 per household, but also past members if they haven't been a member in the last year.

I know this is obvious and silly question...but isn't it unbelievable that the franchisor is giving away the first month free at OUR clubs to anyone that wants it.
Why do we have to give the first month free?
Is our product that bad?

I read the Ts & Cs too. I does say 2 per household, but it clearly says Not Valid for Current or Former Members. Regardless, it still sucks. No one needs 30 days to make a decision on a gym membership. For a lot of people, their motivation has already worn off by this time, or they were just looking for a free month to begin with.
