Has anyone noticed that you can no longer click on the new membership fee and get a list of what new memberships comprise that fee. We found errors in this charge all the time, including being charged for memberships being transferred to our club from another as well as being transferred back. In the normal snap fashion it appears that if there's a problem with their reports they just stop providing them or eliminate the details.
Corporate really needs to be audited. I don't have any faith in them to do anything correctly. The question is just is it a matter of dishonesty or incompetence?

So you have found that corp will charge a new member fee for an existing member in the system that is transferred to another club? I never realized that happened. What if they are set to terminate end of that month? What if their cc declines? We are stuck with the decline fee plus new member fee which is $5 and plus some odd cents? The greed is killing my mind. I also noticed the marketing fee once again. What did we receive for that expense..an ipad and a steel car for Christmas..

So in January, I signed about 32 new people at one club. I get charged a NEW member fee 5 and a half bucks by corporate for 60 or so. 60? Wtf? Returning member fee of course. Beware of those returning terminated members and charge that reinstatement fee of some sort.

Yeah, it's per member, not membership. So any add-on family members count, also reinstated members, and of course all the Silver Sneakers. It all adds up, but from 32 to 60?? Yeah that sounds steep.

Have you all been able to get your New Member count to match with any report? I can see the new member count as at least 5 different number based on the report I am looking at but none of them ever match the count I am billed for. When I ask I am told oh that is last months number or from two months ago or "I don't know wher it comes from." Great.....well, at least I got it in writing.

How many owners are happy to have Snap's support out there? Wonder if we could find even 1 who has been with Snap longer than 1 year and are not shared ownership or involved with corporate on the side?

I was reading my franchise agreement and it clearly states $5.## per membership agreement not member. The $.51 or whatever is per member. I would believe the new member charge is actually new members and returning members if they are at least a few months deactivated. I don't buy it they are charging $5 for every new member. It bothers me enough that I have to stomach the $5/returning member if they haven't been around in a while. That's double dipping and criminal.
