Do any of you use Digital Stack? If so, is it worth the $300 per month? What kind of increase have you seen because of it?

We typically spend about $5K a year in advertising. We've tried just about everything. TV ads, billboards, direct mail, door hangers, facebook, post-its on pizza boxes, place mats at local restaurants, cheater signs, etc, etc. We get a few turned in for the discount, but it's never a lot. This year we decided we wouldn't do any advertising. Additionally we didn't offer any additional discounts for the new year, etc. The result? No difference from last year, so far. We've always found that the majority of our new members come from word of mouth. Snap likes to assign a value of $500 for each new member. Funny thing is if you use that in other areas they scoff at that number. We'll still do a bit of marketing here and there, but we're done allocating and spending $5K/year.
I'm not familiar with the digital stack, but I don't trust anything pushed by snap. The only benefit from anything they're touting seems to go to corporate. If the franchisee benefits then that just seems to be a nice little side effect. So what does the digital stack get you?

So what does the digital stack get you? $150 in Google AdWords which they are always telling you to spend more and graphics that we should be getting for the money we already send them for the national ad fund. Oh and the graphics have your club name on them. Other than that, not sure.

We've used adwords in the past. I believe this is where your text shows up as a link on the right side of a google search. No benefit from it. When I do searches I typically ignore the companies listed on the right. Typically because they're not as relevant to my search and I know they're paying to show up and my price will most likely be higher to pay for their ad.
I agree that the global marketing fee should go for marketing. Snap likes to make the argument...
"What???!!! You can't expect to get TV and/or radio advertising for that cheap of a price" So, then what is that fee for? Go read the FDD!!
Meanwhile that money just goes into the corporate party fund, corporate's pockets or something else which is no benefit to franchisees. Here's an idea: put it toward banner ads, facebook advertising, or something else which only costs $100 or so per month. They might as well just call it a franchisee surcharge.
