I would suggest everyone file a complaint with the Attorney General for Minnesota. I believe the 30 day trial is a crime. The crime being theft of services, which someone else brought up in previous thread. I don't understand how you can sell the services of another entity without their approval. www.ag.state.mn.us/office/ContactUs.aspOffice of Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson 445 Minnesota Street, Suite 1400 St. Paul, MN 55101 (651) 296-3353 or (800) 657-3787 TTY: (651) 297-7206 or TTY: (800) 366-4812

Look through your first franchise agreement. Then look through the second. Consider that we are so far into this financially, that we had little choice but to sign a second term. There are some significant changes and these should be reported because they affect how we sell and how we can advertise, just to name a couple of points. And for so many who signed 10 year agreements, who were told you had no choice, you were mislead. There are some things that we can't change. But if there is any possibility to get rid of the 30 day trial, we should try.

Why not also mention Decline Recovery Program. They take $1 for every decline even if you go in prior to any email sent and set the account to statements or get a new CC without the help of this program. This should be an opt in/out program. I "recovered" the payments without their help, yet they still charge me for these. I'm sure I am not alone.

It may be good to explain all the ways that people can scam this system, allowed by corporate, by using different emails, different addresses, and entering incorrect birthdays. I've seen it all. I've had terminated members come back as transferred members and find that they did a 30 day trial somewhere before transferring back to me.

Looks like we will be filing a law suit shortly using Dady and Gardner In regards to all the lost income with declines And increased fees. As well as programs tied to their flawed systems Lost dues such as decline recovery fee; mysnapfitness fee ;new technology fee. I'll keep you all updated.

I believe you have the best in the nation to go after them. Dady & Gardner are expensive, but they typically get results. Sure wish more clubs were interested in joining and forming a Franchisee Association with Dady & Gardner representing so it's affordable for all of us.

I didn't mean to plug Dady and Gardner if that's how it was taken. We'll see.

One of the Attorneys at Dady & Gardner said to me quote " if there ever was a Franchise that SHOULD HAVE an Association , It's Snap Fitness"

One of the Attorneys at Dady & Gardner said to me quote " if there ever was a Franchise that SHOULD HAVE an Association , It's Snap Fitness" Well they need to get their story straight. What they told me is: (from a different thread) I spoke with our attorney about setting up a franchisee association. What they said is that you'd want to have about 50% of the franchisees on board. The minimum they'd recommend would be 30%. I wouldn't begin to estimate how many franchisees there are. On the board here I'm guessing we probably have about 10. So the question is how do you gather a list of how many franchisees there are who would join?

Perhaps that was a statement before all the zees who used them/are using them. I know that a few (or more) are/were using Dady & Gardner quite recently (not to mention someone working at Dady & Gardner used to work with/for Snap).
