My point - we get charged for the technology and it's still not fully functional. Very limited functionality in fact. Get ready for further increases in tech fees as they add more functionality. It seems to be corporate's directive to take as much as possible from us. Credit card update will cost us.

We purchased one of the kiosks. We purchased it from another Snap for about 50% of the original price. We still use it and it's something which helps to differentiate us from other clubs. It's actually an impressive part of our tour.
The downside? This was actually a good concept and a benefit for members. It had a lot of potential. It should have been coupled with a customization tool which would enable you to provide a briefing on all the equipment in your club. The different manufacturers should have been given the opportunity to provide clips on their different equipment. There should have also been a lot more exercise videos using dumbells, body weight exercises, etc. It was originally designed to work with easyfit. When that product was dropped it should have undergone an engineering change. Instead it was just dropped. It's really disappointing because I can see the potential it had. I feel sorry for the product managers who most likely also had a vision for the product and just had their ideas dismissed.

One thing I started to notice and I am not sure it has always been like this, but say there is a member who has purchased several prepaids in the past and has never signed the ipad nor electronic signature. A renew by phone with no email is an example. When they do come in and are there to sign the ipad, every contract in their past comes up for them to sign. This shouldn't be happening for the previous contracts are terminated and over with. Done deal. Only active contracts need to be signed. This becomes a pain in the ass when I have to tell the member to sign the next 12 pages please. "Just keep signing please." Very annoying.
